is first appearance on Radio Frequency at the young age on 15, DJ Vecta made a massive impression on the scene with his ability and has since progressed his way to a popular show on a thursday evening 6-8pm.
Because of this young talent, Vecta appeared in 2008 on a TV documentary titled “Pirates of the Airwaves: Is it Worth it?” which spoke about pirate radio and how Radio Frequency delivers a positive message, by helping the youth in the city, despite the public image of pirate radio.
As a Drum & Bass DJ, he brings many different styles within the genre, although specialising within the ‘Jump Up’ area that he is mainly known for. He has played many gigs around leeds, including well known events such as Subdub, Metropolis, Jungle Jam, Hangar, Frontline, AndWhat and Unity Day. Vecta also spends time working hard in the studio alongside brother Antix, who form the dubstep duo Vital Techniques and run the record label Second To None Music.
