Since Zillah left his stomping ground of Birmingham to make Leeds his home 4 years ago, the talented DJ and Hangar Records co-owner has been flying the flag for the city’s formidable drum & bass scene.
Blasting his unique handling of all styles of drum & bass on Radio Frequency every Monday 6 – 8pm, Zillah draws on a refined taste in reggae and hip hop to turn out fiendishly mixed mash up sets on the regular.
As Resident and co-owner of Hangar & Hangar Records, Zillah has been at the helm of one of the fastest rising record labels in drum & bass, and showcased the label in London on D&BTV.
Past bookings have taken Zillah to Leeds’s landmark venues as well as Manchester and London, including Exodus, Jungle Jam, Bangerang, Full Fat, the now defunct Sit On My Bass, and Birmingham’s The Custard Factory and Rainbow.
