Outlook announce new festival, Dimensions

Posted by Admin On January - 19 - 2012

The team behind Croatia’s increasingly popular dance music festival, Outlook, have announced a new festival.

Named Dimensions, this new festival will take place in the same location as Outlook, but focus on the “deeper end” of the electronic music spectrum. And so although there’s still room on their 2012 line-up for some traditional Outlook favourites (Iration Steppas, Mungo’s Hi-Fi), the majority of the line-up draws from the more cerebral side of house, techno, dubstep and drum’n’bass.

So far, the following names have been confirmed (you might want to take a deep breath at this point): Moodymann, Dyed Soundorom, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Scuba, Shackleton, Joy Orbison, Levon Vincent, Kassem Mosse, Gold Panda, Theo Parrish, Pangaea, Loefah, Boddika, Midland, Floating Points, Surgeon, Kyle Hall, 2562, Benji B, Andrew Weatherall, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Mala, Pearson Sound, Ben UFO, Blawan, Sigha, Locked Groove, Space Dimension Controller, Pariah, Untold, Alexander Nut, Funkineven, Fatima (live), Iration Steppas, Mungo’s Hifi, Author, Pinch, Deadbeat, Anstam, dBridge, Dub Phizix, Consequence, SP:MC, Synkro and Paul Spymania.

Not bad, we’re sure you’ll agree. Dimensions takes place from September 6-9, and tickets go on sale at 4pm on Sunday January 22. Ticket prices can be found below; for more information, visit the Dimensions website.

Mt & Fudd

Posted by Admin On January - 18 - 2012

MT and Fudd began spinning vinyl from a very young age and have now been in the game for over 15 years. They play many genres from old skool to new.
As the years have progressed so has the technology and MT and Fudd have stayed on top of their game when it comes to both technological advancements and breakthrough sounds.
They now play Bassline House and Jackin using a program called Serato this allows them to carry more music than ever before and still enables them to play using the good old trusted Technics 1210/1200′s which they have grown to love over the years.
Saying that don’t get it twisted they still know how to use Pioneer 1000′s with the best of them.
MT and Fudd started spinning in the early 90′s and have played many clubs and radio shows over the years. Their first radio show playing UK garage/Speed garage was on one of the first community station’s back in the 90′s Peoples fm. Around this time they also had residency in Bacchus After Hours and Parkers, as well as Fudd being resident at the very well known Casaloco’s just to mention a few.
From here on in it was onwards and upwards, as time went by 4×4 Bassline hit the streets… MT and Fudd decided it was time for a change! They moved radio stations to Fresh fm and started a Bassline show which proved to be very popular. Then with the influence of London UK Funky sounds hitting the streets of Leeds hot on the heels of Bassline, Funky became the path to follow landing residency for MT at Leeds very own Gatecrasher (Passion) where he played alongside such as Heartless Crew and Tim Westwood again just to mention a few.
Present day MT and Fudd have gone back to their roots, spinning the extremely popular Bassline House/Jackin sound they just couldn’t resist. They now host shows here on Radio Frequency fm Leeds every Tuesday and Friday 3-6pm.
